FIFA 18 Update 1.0.3 is Now Available on Nintendo Switch

EA has released a new software update for FIFA 18 on Nintendo Switch, which is now the world’s game on the plucky portable home console on update version 1.0.3.

This solves several issues in general gameplay, FIFA Ultimate Team, online modes, and Career mode, and it also corrects graphical and presentation problems such as kits not getting completely dirty after a player performs a slide tackle. Smoothed the movement of the Set Piece Target indicator.
If the Joy-Con controllers change from Handheld mode to Tabletop mode, the controller function is lost during the half-time process.
If a player changes the Joy-Con controller from Handheld mode to Tabletop mode, the will not reset.
When using the Joy-Con controller in Solo mode, the Approach Speed button is displayed on the Penalty Kick Tutorial screen.

Addressed Issues in FIFA Ultimate team:

Squad Building Challenge Reward items are incorrectly tagged as Loan items in some situations.
Missing pack art on Premium Gold Packs in some situations.

Addressed Issues in Online Modes:

If a player re-enters the mode quickly after quitting out of a Local Seasons match, A crash in Local Seasons
Players always have the same country flag as yours when in the Compare Stats screen on the Online Leaderboards.
Debug text on matchmaking error message.
Made the text on the Settings tile in Local Seasons easier to see.

Addressed Issues in Career Mode:

A freeze when proceeding into the second Pre-Season Tournament match in certain situations.
Incorrectly loading a Player Career save file when selecting ‘Continue Manager Career” if the player skipped the initial save file creation flow.
Penalty shootout results were not showing on the Tournament Tree when playing the game in some languages.
Debug text on the My Career screen if you get fired from the MLS and take a job in a league that starts their season in July.
Banners missing from the North America All-Stars Pre-Season Tournament.

Updates to a number of crests and kits.
The numbers and names on kits were not getting dirty after performing a slide tackle.
Corrections to some of the localized Trophy names.
