A New Video Released For FIFA 18

EA has released a new video for FIFA 18, in which two celebrities compete against each other on the PlayStation 4. Normally this is not the kind of thing that we're going to report on, but one of the celebrities happens to be a personal hero: Big Shaq ... the one and only.

If you are not familiar with him, Michael "Big Shaq" Deepah, also known as "Roadman Shaq", is a comedian and Grime artist that shot to fame with his breakout hit song "Mans Not Hot." Played on Radio 1Xtra's Fire In The Booth, the track is a caricature of roadmans in the UK and has since become fodder for internet memes and parodies. It was even used to introduce Shaquille O'Neal on the Jimmy Fallon Show.

One of the key features of the Roadman Shaq's character is his unwillingness to take of his jacket because mans not hot. Never hot. However, in the FIFA 18 trailer, he's pitted against Arsenal striker Danny Welbeck, and he has to take off his jacket if he loses. This is a high-stakes match for Big Shaq, so things get a bit more heated. Perspiration ting.

This is a fun video and Big Shaq is on fine form in it. Unfortunately, Asznee does not make an appearance.

Meanwhile, FIFA 18 is now available on PS4, Xbox One and PC. In GameSpot's FIFA 18 review, Oscar Dayus won the championship with a 7/10, saying it excels off the pitch. From the variety of game modes on offer and how everything's presented, to the constant updates in FUT's Team of the Week, Daily Objectives, and discussion of real-world happenings in commentary, FIFA 18 captures the world of football and confidently translates it into a video game.

"On the pitch, however, EA's soccer series is still lagging far behind PES 2018's more fluid, satisfying football. This year's improvements are welcome, but more needs to be done in the coming years if FIFA is to be a world-beater once again."

The new FIFA 18 update has been released on all platforms and made some changes to the performance of the goalkeeper in the matches, how the referees perceive aerial challenges, and has Ultimate Team tweaks. FIFA publisher EA has said it may not bring out a new football title every year in the future. Instead, it can switch to a subscription-based model.
