FIFA 18 Got New Update Patch to Fix the Kick-off Glitch

Have you ever been suffered by a rival exploiting the infamous "Kick-off glitch" in FIFA 18? Or do you use it yourself to your advantage? Well, in both cases, fortunately, things will change, as it was becoming both boring and frustrating for many players. So far, there was a combination by which it was rather easy (and repetitive) to score a goal from the kick-off, whether at the beginning or after letting a goal in.

If you have not, just try it: After the new whistle, pass the ball directly to your first midfielder with the new rule. Then pass it to your fullback. From there, pick up one side and send it to either your left or right back. Then send pass through to your winger, which you ordered to run right before by pressing L1. At this point, you just have to run a little more and make a cross for the header. Goal!

It spent long enough time, but now EA has decided to fix the defending team's behaviour to avoid this exploit. As the official notes pointed out:
After kickoff, the defending team will be more compact in defense. 
Their attacking players will be less aggressive in pushing up the field. 
Their defensive players will close the space between them and their attacking players to reduce the gap and limit the attacking team's space.

The full patch notes detailed some extra issues that have been addressed, but the meat of the update refers to the FIFA Ultimate Team mode, both in terms of contract and setup.
