Icons are a new addition to FIFA 18 Ultimate Team this year, and EA Sports has revealed several of the latest players to join the list.
The Icon cards are replacing the Legend cards of the past years, but that does not mean that the players are not so legendary.
Rui Costa, Alessandro Del Piero and Marc Overmars are the three most recent versions of the Icon lineup. Rui Costa (CAM) and Overmars (LM) are both rated at 90 overall, but Del Piero (CF) is even higher, rated at 92.
The Portuguese player Rui Costa spent his time at Benfica, but played for most of his career in Italy for Fiorentina and Milan.
Marc Overmars spent several seasons at Ajax and Arsenal, and then the Dutchman went to Barclona in the year 2000.
Alessandro Del Piero played more than 500 times for Juventus, spending nearly 20 years at the club. He also won nearly 100 caps for the Italy national team.
All three players are speedy, but Overmars is one of the fastest players in the game, with a pace of 95. He has also got 89 dribbling, 82 shooting, and 81 passing.
Rui Costa has 86 pace, 88 dribbling, 81 shooting, and 88 passing. His physical condition is also good either at 79.
Del Piero's shot and dribbler made his overall rating. Of which 92 people for dribbling and shooting, he also has 83 goals, 89 passes.
All three players will be a very powerful part of any Ultimate Team, but of course, the cost on the transfer market will be very high.
They are available in packs and through Squad Builder Challenges for the remainder of FIFA 18.
