EA Sports's latest Ratings Refresh is coming to an end, with the development providing some of the latest content today - The new FIFA 18 Winter Upgrades have been released today by EA Sports for the Rest of the World, and are now available on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
Now the Rest of the World group, including the likes of Quincy Promes from Spartak Moscow, Pizzi of Benfica and Sebastian Giovinco Toronto FC, can be found in packs on the PS4, Xbox One and PC.
Only new basic player items found in the packages will update the ratings, but some existing in-form items will automatically update their raatings to reflect the Ratings Refresh.
As fans probably already know that the FIFA 18 Winter Upgrades permanently change the stats for some players. This means that if a player's upgraded overall rating surpasses his existing in-form's rating, in-form will also get an upgrade.
The only exception to this is a lower-rated player items that receive significant upgrades. Likewise, it does not apply to Ultimate Scream items. And in a change of last year's format, this year's Ratings Refresh will not include any downgrades.
FIFA 18 players will no doubt realize now that EA Sports almost rebealed all of their FUT Ultimate Team Winter Upgrades. But there's still a lot to be done, and some very important upgrades are lined up for the Rest of the World players.
For those who do not know or forget completely, the FIFA 18 Winter Upgrades - also known as "Rating Refresh" - brings some huge stat boosts (no downgrades this year) for FUT Ultimate Team players.
The purpose of this is to ensure that the statistics of the Ultimate Team reflect the realistic performances of the players throughout the season so far. For example, Spurs Harry Kane has been hitting them in left, right and centre, and his stats have risen from 86 to 88.
FUT Ratings Refresh FAQ
Upgrades apply to new basic (not in-form) player items found in the packages. Non-IF players in your club will not receive an upgrade.
IF the upgraded player's new OVR rating equals or exceeds his existing first in-form rating, his IFs will be upgraded: Exceptions are made for lower-rated player items with significant upgrades. This does not apply to Ultimate Scream items.
IF the upgraded player's new OVR rating does not equal or exceed his existing in-form rating, his IFs will not be upgraded.
Ratings Refresh So Far
So far, EA SPORTS has revealed all the league's Winter Upgrades. This includes the English Premier League, German Bundesliga, French Ligue 1, Spanish La Liga and Italian Calcio A.
