However, according to EA SPORTS's response to Dream Team, this will improve in FIFA 18. Game producer Sam Rivera promised that his crew is providing full attention and seriousness it deserves to the connectivity issue. Said Rivera:
“There have been decision in the past about putting servers around the world – and people who are far from the servers will experience some lag.
So, now what we are doing is that there is a group of people just specifically working on connectivity – and they are working very hard to try and provide the best experience."
As to why they put these efforts into the networking issues: they have ambitions. The esports side of FIFA are increasingly relevant to the public profile of the game, especially as teams pick up high-ranking players to represent them on the digital turf. Players like Paris Saint-Germain and FC Schalke may also put their jerseys on FIFA 17 players as they are on League of Legends stars, and that's (naturally) expected to persist through FIFA 18.
FIFA 18 will be released on September 29, 2017. It will come to every platform - PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC. A version without the Frostbite engine will also come out of Nintendo switch. By then, FIFA gamers will be able to buy cheap FIFA 18 Coins at Fifacoinsbuy.com.
