EA Sports has finally announced the start date of the Team of the Season (TOTS) in FIFA 18. It will begin on April 27th, the day the FUT Swap Deals ends, and will begin with the Community voting TOTS, which is also known as the  Most Consistent team. 

This year, you can vote for the players yourself. There are 100 nominated players in the community that you can choose. All of those players have been consistently performing well for their teams this season, but they have not obtained any in-form cards at any points. 

Here's how you can vote for them:

First, you need to go to Futwiz or Futhead, where you will have the opportunity to vote. 

Then, you need to form a squad of 23 players from the 100 nominated players that the FIFA 18 community has chosen, but there are some rules - Your 23-man lineup needs to include: at least two goalkeepers, at least six defenders, at least six midfielders, at least three attackers, and no more than four players from one league.

On each site, you can cycle through the nominations and make choices, and then, once you meet the requirements, you can complete your vote and they will be confirmed. 

The 23 players with the most votes from the community will then form the final team, meeting the same team requirements as the voting, and they will be announced and released into packs on April 27.

So, who came the top of the list?

In 2014, when the tournament was held in Brazil, EA released an independent game that was mainly the head-to-head modes, standard kick-off and tournament modes from the base game, all of which were conducted around the national teams and the World Cup.

Now, no standalone FIFA 18 World Cup match has been revealed, and we are fast approaching the start of the competition. The top five most used players in the FUT from the MLS may not be that surprising. The Los Angeles Galaxy has two players in the list: Romain Alessandrini, who is ranked the first, and  Jonathan dos Santon, who is ranked the fourth. Alessandrini's speed is very fast, especially with his amazing In-Form card which has 93 pace.

Gyasi Zardes of the Columbus Crew SC was ranked the second. He was a highly rated silver player, and an English player, New York Red Bulls' Bradley Wright-Phillips, ranked at number 3. Chicago Fire's Bastian Schweinsteiger, a former World Cup winner rounds out the list at number 5.

Not surprisingly, people like to abuse Alessandrini's speed, and he is also at the top of the MLS goalscoring list in Ultimate Team.

EA Sports have announced that the latest FIFA 18 update, patch 1.11 is nowavailable to download on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.  And EA Sports also confirmed what has been included in the latest build.

The latest patch brought some changes to the game’s Ultimate Team mode, including some key bug fixes. For example, “FUT Champions Channel replays, for matches that ended early and resulted in a DNF, were sometimes incorrectly displaying which player received the loss,” but this has been corrected. The video issue has now been resolved and replays should work as intended.
